Screen shake with engineer
Any way to get rid of it? I really want to play with this character but the screen shake while sprinting makes me a bit nauseous.

Never understood why he shakes so badly when everyone else sprints and doesn’t.
It’s probably to simulate actually riding on a jackhammer. His jackhammer already isn’t even animated, it just slides across the ground and creates particles.
This is the animation of this character. Unfortunately, it is not well made. It is to imitate real shakes, e.g. when driving on a jackhammer. I think they could make better animation and somewhat compensate for the shaking of the screen
Yep... and they could, at the same time, fix the slightly annoying "ah ah ah ah ah ah............eh eh eh eh eh............................................." noises he makes while on his jackhammer too 😃
@mikepal19I've definitely noticed this with Engineer. Engineer has one of the best sprints in the game because of his speed and his ability to not be eaten by Chompers while sprinting on his Jackhammer.
But the noises he makes and the screen shake while sprinting with Engineer are annoying at times, I do hope this feature gets looked at!
- @ippig Yes, I like the noise too! I'm kind of used to the shaking, don't really notice it much, but I wish they'd sort out the jackhammer & other ability vibrations that continue sometimes when you die or the game ends.
- @ToastedSarnie That's why I disabled the vibration function on my game pad. Sometimes there is something off with the sound as well especially when you get vanquished while you revive someone. Often the sound continues afterwards.
- @ippig Yes, have been thinking about doing the same, but find it useful with some things . . . Hmm!
That is true about some of the voice lines ... but I do find the engineer a bit annoying after a while of playing him...
only slightly though so its not an issue for me really 😃
