Share or Trade Stars and Customs

I want to share or trade my stars and customs.

Like my son cannot buy anything with his account (due to credit card and country problems - Paypal is not working for me) but with my account I do can buy this things. I want to be able to share with him stars and maybe why not customs that I don't like.

  • It’s a good idea if you can do it with accounts that share the same email.  If it was available to everyone though, people could take advantage of younger players that don’t understand the value of a dollar.

  • @dwooten77 You are right! I did not think about younger players. But then you are telling me you can have multiple accounts associated to one email?
  • That’s a great idea @tamozlocoz I’m the main account holder and have accounts for both of my boys. I run into the same problem since I play way more than they do (I know it’s kinda sad!) and would love to share some costumes for their favorite characters. Sharing stars I’m not too concerned about since I can purchase items for them occasionally but the rare gear I get would be even better if I can share them with my boys. I doubt PopCap will ever implement this due to abuse reasons but the idea is spot on!

That’s right!  I recommend it too.  In gw2 if I paid for dlc, my son received the content as well.  Hopefully it’s the same with BFN.  I’m not sure as I have not purchased anything.  I’m assuming that since I bought the game once, it should work.

I haven't tested this, but I believe DLC purchases (not currency purchases) will be shared to other accounts on a console if the purchase is made on the main account, yes.

  • @EA_David Unfortunately, no. Only the main account associated with the purchase gets awarded any benefits of a purchase. This is an area that definitely needs addressed industry wide. With 9 year old twins, I can assure you that I am not a fan of the current setup. In-game trading will definitely be in the future of gaming, particularly with developers looking to establish a longer term player base, (old school Ultima Online by EA and Origin back in ‘97-98 was the pinnacle of online gaming open market player transactions)
  • I can confirm that a purchased DLC pack by the main account holder will in fact give the content to secondary accounts. I’ve purchased both DLC packs since the game released and both my sons accounts received the same content. I play on PS4 so I’m not entirely sure if the same can be said for Xbox/PC but yes, it definitely works with PS4.
