You shouldn't have spent hundreds of dollars on sticker packs for a single legendary character piece... it's absolutely not worth spending any real-life money on the game because you can get everything in it by just playing the game, even though it takes a while. If he plays GW2 on PC, then he could unlock the character with an unlock everything mod.
