If you've hard reset your system and the problem persists, it's either their servers... or your Xbox LIVE ports aren't open on your router.

Xbox Live requires the following ports to be open:
- Port 88 (UDP)
- Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
- Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
- Port 80 (TCP)
- Port 500 (UDP)
- UDP Port 3544 (UDP)
- UDP Port 4500 (UDP)
If you haven't already, I suggest you get those ports set up to be positive it's a server issue.

I'm going to say it was there servers, I flipped over to my xbox and it said I had been disconnected and then after trying to reconnect it said I couldn't reach the server. Another try and it actually connected.
