@JusticeHeroX Yup, I found myself muting everyone all the time. I was actually able to tame a few toxic players in BfN in the past. I got one of them to greet me with the happy emoji every time I enter a lobby. The power of the Acorn Overlord 🙂.
@gametrieuk So far all lobbies of Turf Takeover I played in GW2 were filled with Soldiers sniping from roofs from across the map without any problem whatsoever. I really don't think that BfN has more snipers when compared to GW2. I remember this being a reason why I quit GW2 early on (next to: the dark, uninspiring style; the bad social system; pay to win system; IMP)
@kingcodered Can't say much more than what @gametrieuk said. I respect your opinion, but mine is the exact opposite. I remember you saying you spent a lot of money on it, so I thought you liked it
@TheSprinter85 The replayability seems better in GW2 with all of the content and variants, but I feel like I need to force myself to play it rather than playing it out of desire like with BfN. I have (re-)reached max rank in BfN now and all of my characters are grandmaster 5. I have completed one free-rom region and nearly competed 2, with only 1 being mostly uncompleted. I will probably 100% them soon. I also need to collect all the pies to get the Acorn hat, I failed to get them in time last year. Despite having unlocked nearly everything, I still find myself going back to it all the time. I play it because I love the gameplay, artsyle and soundtrack. I didn't play it because I felt I needed to grind through the prize maps. BfN is my favorite game of all time, with PvZ 1, Cities: Skylines and Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction being close seconds (I love most R&C games, A Crack in time is considered to be the best game of the series, but I slightly prefer ToD)
@Studman61 I also dislike the whole consumables idea. I feel like I need to save them and don't use them in pvp, which sucks. I always forget to buy them before playing ops and you can't access the sticker shop while playing ops. It's so annoying.
I'll probably continue to play GW2 to get some more trophies (and because I bought Torchwood and Hovergoat). I enjoy some parts of it, but they are few compared to everything I like in BfN. I always play BfN after GW2 in order to cope with what I just witnessed before (Imps in GW2, ridiculously low TTK, snipers everywhere, Toxic Brainz,...)
- TheSprinter855 years agoHero@benn1nat0r I do plan on doing a guide to collecting all the Pies actually. I have collected them all, but I should be able to point out where all of them are located.
I still really like the game for fun. I do not feel like it is a grind at all. However, it seems to be slowly less fun as I complete more things. That said, I will probably continue to play even when everything for me is complete!- 5 years ago@TheSprinter85 I agree, the magic is somewhat gone. Looking forward to that guide 🙂.
