@GraveledStoopidI think when they introduced the sprint mechanic someone pointed out that spawns should be farther away to account for the (slightly) increased speed but then they overcompensated and put the spawns so far away that respawning players are not a factor at all for far too long- it’s ruined the defending team on Turf Takeover and while not every spawn in Suburban Isolation puts you in the next town over about half of them do and even with sprinting it takes forever to get to the active point again unless you luck out and spawn closer.
- @realitysquared Turf is a mixed bag of problems with spawns.
As you say there are a lot of places where the defending team spawn too far away, but there are also WAY too maps where with the first objective the defending team can get to the attacking team spawn so quickly they can hold them there & kill the game off before it even starts.
