Slow down with these summonables!
Introduction
The Ice Shroom and Mr. Freezy are summonables that can slow down or freeze enemies, which makes them unable to move, attack or use their abilities. These summonables work in a similar fashion, but at the same time work quite differently to each other. The Ice Shroom uses an icy wave close range attack that deals good damage and freezes enemies that are caught in the blast, while the Mr. Freezy can shoot at enemies with a decent range, and it does not deal much damage to enemies, but whenever it deals damage to enemy it slows it down, and eventually freezes it after enough hits. These summonables have decent health and are really good for getting easy vanquishes on slowed or frozen enemies.
My Thoughts
These summonables are quite powerful and their slowing and freezing effects can make them tricky to deal with. Any enemies they freeze or slow down can be vanquished quite easily to their significantly increased vulnerability. The Ice Shroom has the power to instantly freeze enemies and deal good damage, while it is limited to close range. The Mr. Freezy has good range and has a good fire rate, and can slow down enemies every time they are hit, and will eventually be frozen. The changes I would suggest include reducing their health slightly, slightly improving the time enemies are frozen or slowed for and to give them a lower cooldown between between attacks.
I would give these summonables a Hard difficulty to defeat overall. However, this being said, it could absolutely depend on the situation. The freezing and slowing effects can be difficult to deal with due to increased vulnerability, and along with the damage they deal as well, they can really become a threat. If you are frozen, you can be freely attacked by any enemy, including these summonables, and you will not be able to fight back. If you are slowed down, it will be harder to escape or avoid attacks. Try to shoot them down quickly and keep a good distance away from them to negate or reduce their threat to you, and if you get slowed down, try to utilise or get to cover to let the slow effect wear off on its own.
None of these summonables appear in Battle for Neighborville, but if they were in the game, I would give them a cooldown of about 5 minutes each. It is a lot easier to vanquish enemies if they have been frozen or slowed down first, due to their increased vulnerability. The freeze and slowing effects are really useful, so limiting how often these summonables can be used will prevent players from overusing these summonables as they can be difficult or even frustrating to deal with in some situations. They would generally only deal damage or freeze a single enemy at a time, but they have the capability of being able to slow or freeze multiple enemies quickly or in rapid succession, so limiting the frequency these can be placed will help.
In A Future Shooter
These summonables can really be useful and could most certainly appear in a future shooter. The freeze and slowing effects are a great help with being able to make enemies much easier to vanquish. I actually suggest that they would have an unlock cost of about 5,000 Coins each, as they are quite powerful, and they could require an unlock cost of 20,000 Coins each, but you could receive 5 of these summonables to get you started, as well as a discount upon the unlock. This will make them quite hard to obtain and use, especially in large numbers, but because of how useful they are, these costs should be adequate.
Overall
These summonables are great and are really useful in most circumstances, so I would imagine that they would be quite costly to get, especially in big quantities, and have an unlock cost attached to them. They already do their tasks well, so changes I suggest include giving them slightly less health, slightly increase the time enemies get frozen or slowed for and to slightly reduce the cooldown between each ot their attacks, as it will discourage enemies from engaging with these summonables at closer ranges especially.
