What's so hard about giving PC players the option of playing split screen? If you don't have 2 controllers, you can at least play it with 1 keyboard/mouse set and 1 controller.
As for the gamertags, you can just make the 2nd player as a guest.
I was really hoping GW2 would have split screen since GW1 didn't for PC.
It's not such a horrible idea when you have friends who come over or have kids who want to play. I know MS didn't make that wireless controller adapter for nothing.
They made it for people who want to play with a controller. Not people who want to play split screen on PC.
And yes, it is a horrible idea. I'm trying not to be rude here, but if you actually think splitting the screen of a PC in half is a good idea, I don't believe that you've ever used a PC before in your life. It's just not something that's done.
