(Spoiler) Updates on new plant character!

GermanShu has posted another video about the upcoming plant.

Please not that looking at the following content could spoil this new character for you when it will be introduced.

It shows all upgrades for it that are in the game files.

What is really interesting to me is the passive "Ice aura" ability.

Any zombie that is close to Ice Plant's shield will get this effect. There is also an upgrade that applies this effect to zombies vanquished by Ice Plant. Any zombie close to that corpse will get the effect as well.

If Ice Aura slows zombies down, I think it will be a great way to deal with sprinting. Of course this would need a zombie equivalent.

    Thanks for sharing this with us @benn1nat0r . I have seen leaked gameplay for Ice Lettuce recently, and I really like the sound of her. 🙂

    I have a suggestion. When you make a new post that has spoilers in it, put spoilers in a bracket in your title to indicate that it has a spoiler in case other players do not want spoilers. 🙂

    @benn1nat0r Very promising, as a Pro player the improvement of freezing your enemies with your walk and dropping an ice bomb when you die is useful to me since I practically play melee most of the time.

    @benn1nat0r Yeah it all looks very cool. I think this is the most work that Popcap has put in for Upgrades so far. I love the GOT reference in the upgrdade "Winter is Approaching" lol.

    Looks good. Some Ice characters were extremely annoying in GW2, especially Frozen Citron and Arctic Trooper, but lettuce here looks like a fun character indeed with decent abilities and quite handy to have on a team.

    One thing though, she looks huge when street sweeping there in the free roam footage! Look how small the foot soldier and browncoats look when compared to the lettuce there. Not sure if that's her final size, but if so, good thing she has 200 health!

    @TheSprinter85  I'm so sorry! It was late at night when I saw it. I wanted to share it with all of you before going to bed and was so excited about the new character that I forgot marking it as a spoiler. I updated the post now.

    @Pvz300085 Yeah that ability looks awesome!

    @shurikeninja The reference is amazing. I just find it to be sad that Popcap can put in so much love for detail into their game but ignore bigger issues like Rux. 

    @Iron_Guard8 I didn't play gw2 long enough to be annoyed by the ice variants so I'll have to see. And it seems like they increases the plant's size since the last time we saw footage.

    @Iron_Guard8 Haha yeah that's what I was thinking. That's probably why she looks so odd in comparison to the rest of the cast. Make Night Cap or Sunflower that size and I'm sure they'd look strange too. She could fit as a Boss character in Ops!

    As with everyone, I like how unique the upgrades are, such as one that lets you throw the shield and another giving you another. They're all creative and really change the way you play, something I've rarely said about upgrades in this game.
