Steam and Origin Crossplay?
Can friends play with each other if one is on steam and the other on origin?

You should be able to because Origin and Steam are both PC sites, meaning that you will both own the game on PC. This game does not have cross-play at the moment (meaning that players who play on different platforms cannot play with each other), however both of these sites are on PC and PC players are able to play with each other. If you both own the game on PC, you should not have a problem playing together.
