[Steam] PvZ Garden Warfare 2 Deluxe Edition not launching

I bought this game on steam while it was on sale, and I can't even play the game. I am given the "Preparing Game..." prompt, and it just disappears without launching the game. It says I'm playing the...

Hi @vertitacial, Buying the game wouldn't cause an issue if it was on sale. It is the same game as a full-price purchase. The only difference is that someone cut the price on the store. The actual download is the same.

It's just bugging me that people with the same problem as me also got it while on sale. It may just be a pure coincidence, but that's why I'm confused. If it was a pure coincidence, then it's probably just my specs or something, but it isn't. I'm just completely lost, but I'm gonna try something and just hope it works brb
