Story Mode with Friends?

I have a question regarding Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. I don't own the game right now, but I just wanted to ask...

Can the story mode missions (Town Center, Weirding Woods, Mount Steep) be played with online friends, or just anyone who happens to be online in general? Or is it exclusively single-player?

Yes, you can play the story the way you like, solo (might be a bit harder like that) or with friends or indeed link up with people you meet in Giddy Park social hub and travel to the Pve areas. The choice is yours. If you decide to get the game I hope you have lots of fun 😃

@Inkoura268 Yes, you can play in any mode on Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville with up to four players, including yourself. This includes the story mode, garden and graveyard ops and all the modes against other players. However, just note that you and anyone else you play with need to play on the same platform (Xbox, PlayStation, PC), because this game does not currently have cross-play!
In the PvE regions, each of you can collect an item at the same time, such as medals and chests, by working together, and you can all complete the story mode of each PvE region together at the same time as well, and all your progress you all make in the story mode will contribute to all of your accounts as well!
