Stutters, Processor heats and fps drops

I having massive fps drops, stutters, and my computer is way above the recommendings. The game aren't feeling that smooth since the fps drops and stutters.

I figured that when i open the game, and looking at my Task manager - My processor is working with 80%, where +66% is only from the game. I can feel that my computer heats up, and it really shouldn't. My computer specs sounds: Intel Core i7 9700K 3.6GHz (4.9GHz Turbo Boost) 8 Cores, 32GB DDR4 3000MHz Ram, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 8GB.

As you see, it really shouldn't be an issue 🙂.

I feeling the issues, in both multiplayer and singleplayer - My computer already heating up just starting the game.

I copy pasted this since i typed this in a reply instead of a thread.

Do you feel the same issues as I?

    I am having the same issue, my laptop meets the recommended requirements and I can run destiny 2 on medium-high graphics with 0 problems, I assume it is just a first day thing and it will be fixed next patch.

    Running the game at low and same problem

    But my pc is just hitting the recommended

    I can play the game on high settings, but on multiplayer it slaps my pc around and I can barely play in low settings.

    Same issue here. Ive got way above recommended but when i play multiplayer the game is just constantly dropping frames. This doesn't happen anywhere near as bad for me in single player, but when multiplayer is the main source of content from this game it is a big issue. I am just hoping Popcap and EA will fix it within the next few weekly content drops.

    I can play this game on high and 60 fps capped if I really wanted but I prefer unlocked but while fighting in single or multiplayer sound would just cut off and I'll start losing fps and starts to stutter a lot. It's probably just optimizing problems.

    I also get stuttering on console and it gets so bad it'll cancel my abilities. The stutter is twice as bad trying to split screen making it virtually impossible.
