Yeah, that's true... it would have to have some kind of other use. Perhaps, unlike the way it's used in 2, it could actually stick around, have an attack stat. Then it could have synergy with other shrooms, and become a standard fighter that happens to have situational use. If a dino is in that lane already (remember, they linger), then the perfume shroom will expel its perfume and leave the battlefield, so as to warrant the player having more than one (plus the hypnotized dino would then do powerful things for the plants). And the dino would have to leave the field after a few turns, so as not to be OP for either party.
Thanks for the suggestion! Definitely missed that. And bear in mind: all of this is very hypothetical. Popcap would have to do some incredibly careful balancing to make this work.
