Suggestion for the Devs: More out of Premium (Set 1) Packs

I agree with you, that it is pretty damn difficult to get rare cards at the moment. I mean, I have purchased a TON of packs since the Galactic Garden expansion came in, and I still lack many legendaries. Also I like the suggestions you propose. I think they are pretty good alternatives to solve this problem.

HOOOOOOOOOOWEVER.... I really don't think that we are going to see any change on the packs, like, EVER. I mean, EA actually REDUCED the amount of gems you could earn from watching the ad videos. This means that they are not planning on making things easier for the players.

I think that they are trying to do something like on "Clash of Clans", where even that it is free, it really is an expensive card game. And people spend insane amounts of money on it!! That's the sad part. If EA made rare cards more accesible, the users would probably reach a point in where they no longer need to buy packs with real money.

And we know how much EA loooooves money.

I agree with you EA is pretty greedy when it comes to money, I mean $40 for 60 packs I could buy a new game for that price! And even then the 60 pack bundle only guarantees 4-5 Legendaries, for that price it should guarantee at least 20. I get idea that Legendaries are supposed to be "hard to find" but come on if somebody's gonna blow 40 dollars on a F2P game you should AT LEAST give them 1/5 of all the Legendaries in set 1.

I don't Think EA should lower the Price of all the packs, EA and popcap got to make money to pay there employees and such, but I think that it's just about time for them to lower the price of set 1 cards I mean the game's been released worldwide for almost a year now all I'm saying is that they should definitely consider it. Especially with more and more new players who are joining the game, these new players are gonna need to have a nice source of cards in order for them to grind.

I've had the game since worldwide release and i still dont have all set 1 Legendaries and Super rares, in fact I don't even have all set 1 Rares.

I'm glad someone replied and gave feedback I thought this post was going to get Ignored.

And if someone at EA or Popcap is reading this I hope that they consider this idea.

Are you kidding? The new players were very annoying before this game was released worldwide and they have been reaching Ultimate League when they just installed the game.
They really wanna make those new players from getting more dangerous to the older players by decreasing gem ads, low chance of getting legendaries, and removing coins to unlock basic packs. I've seen lots of players without their Season badge already reaching Ultimate League which affects the older players and EA wants new players to slow down their progress of getting all the cards. They might lose their profit if they actually make new players getting lots of good cards early when they just started the game without paying it and older players will complain since the new players from the low ranks already got so many strong cards in which that happens before the worldwide release.

New F2P players are already getting their good cards. That's very unfair because they are gonna keep ranking up and up without even struggling like old players do.
Now they are getting more good cards than old players does. This makes it really unfair because old players spent a lot of months trying to collect while new players can just get free packs that gives them more good cards and they can make random decks that can beat a synergy decks.

I don't see how old players are struggling @OldSchool9210.  We have the same opportunities as new players.  It's not like EA is handing them free packs/cards that we old players don't have chances to earn as well.  

Also, EA needs new blood (players).  Making the game too hard to begin playing won't incentivize newbies to play, but instead turn away and shrink their profit pool.

I also liked the way this game is hard for new players to begin. When new players installed this game in Galactic Gardens, they are struggling and they have hard time collecting Set 1 and Set 2 cards. But they should probably get less chance for the good cards that has a key for the deck such as Molekale, Pineclones, and Teleport to prevent older players having hard time dealing with them. The multiplayer should never even allow new players to battle old players because it pisses them off if new players win unfairly and old players will struggle against new players with the good decks the newbies have.

I think there are cards that needs their rarity changed because there are OP cards that new players need to stop using it like Snowdrop, Admiral Navy Bean, Shroom for Two and more because i've been having trouble dealing with those and i've tried so many good decks and no changes really worked and those new players needs to be less powerful at the start and makes it balanced for older players. They've been beating me a lot of times even though they aren't really P2W, i encountered 10 out of 15 F2P and they can beat my deck really easy. POPCAP Please give new players less good cards. WE WANT THAT TO HAPPEN!!!!

There's one problem we have to deal with, is to compete against new players and stop them from getting cards that brings all the frustrations against older players.
