Twister has low DPS and can be countered or nullified by almost every plant. Why does it need a nerf? Its not like goop or a stun grenade that locks abilities while he is hitting you with it. The only problem with the Twister is that he continues to spin and inflict damage when he is being eaten by a Chomper or frozen by an ice shroom. I think this is a design problem though like a solider ZPGing a chomper that is about to swallow it.

And ironcatfish, have you actually tried to stop someone using twister as a pea? Please try it and come back and tell me it's fair. And it only takes 2 seconds to kill a pea with that twister technique. Let me ask you something, did you ever Play part 1?
And honestly I just experienced some major hit detection issues. Wow this game is actually broken.
Super Brainz himself is a bit overtuned, while Electro Brainz is just plain broken because of his beam alone.
The problem is that he's just too well rounded with little to no downsides. He can do well at range and melee between his abilities and attacks - and to top it all off, he's got 200 hp. It also doesn't help that you see 4+ Superheroes each game because of it.
He needs to have his ranged capabilities toned down so he becomes primarily a melee bruiser. Because as is, there isn't much incentive to play soldier over him.
PS: If they don't nerf his beam, reduce his hp to 175 or so.

As a matter of fact, I have. Just go into your gatling stance and tank the damage, if your hyper isn't available to escape. Besides it takes more than two seconds for the twister to beat a pea or even a sunflower at full health.

You cant escape with hyper if you get caught in the twister. You could try the gatling, and i agree, that's your best bet, but even if you manage to win that fight your health will be almost all gone and you get taken out by someone else immediately. I think we all basically see the same thing and I would describe it as follows. No character, plant or zombie, should be excellent at both ranged attacks AND melee combat. In a nut shell i think that is the problem with Brainz...and maybe the Pirate too.
At mid-long range (with exception of electro, which I think we all agree is broken) a brainz will not beat a pea unless the pea is terrible. The pea is a tiny target and does more damage at range than the huge, easy to hit brainz. At close range (surprise!) the brainz SHOULD kick your puny little butt. I play a cactus quite often and I freaking love seeing all of the brainz running around because they are so darn easy to hit. 200hp melts away fast. I'll usually kill 5 or 6 of them before one of them wises up and decides they have to get close. Once they close the distance, they will destroy me in no time flat. Brainz class is not broken. Only electro needs a slight nerf on AE dmg...
