I'm not back peddling anything, and I haven't been caught out with something I detailed for you.
So in a multiplayer balance thread you rather conveniently forgot to mention that your 200 odd assists game was against AI. A comment you was using as an example to show how overpowered it was and further reinforce your argument. You then smugly stated that any PS4 player could join your backyard to see for themself. In fact until I pointed out it was completely impossible and showed why, you was quite adamant about it. If that's not back peddling then I don't know what is.

Anyway I'm not going to tell you exactly which variants don't require any aiming, you go figure that out for yourself. All I want to know is why Engineers can hit 40s and higher, and Plant support classes are hitting 2s and 5s.
As stated clearly, I said this thread can be temporarily ignored. I will respond but I don't really want to, I've made my point, and the only argument people can come up with is along the lines of the Engineer is more like an Assault class, which isn't fair, and certainly not balanced.
Oh i already figured it out - you need to aim with everything if you want to do max damage (except Rose pre-patch).
By plant support classes you mean rose or sunflower? Rose needs a slight damage buff, but not much as you know what happened last time. There are various reasons why they hit for less and it's down to all sorts of other factors. Rate of fire, range, clip size, abilities, etc. For example just think how powerful her abilities are in a fight, and that they can also affect multiple players at the same time. How much is that worth to have on a class? You can't really quantify it, but they are highly useful and very powerful skills. There has to be a trade off somewhere, and I guess that's damage in her case. Otherwise we'd all be playing with a single class that does the same damage, has the same health, same abilities. Balanced yes, fun no.
