If we want split-screen for online multiplayer and PC to happen you need to be vocal about it. We need to let them know how many of us want this feature added. They did say they would look into it, but if the demand is it will happen.
No split screen in the update for PC!

I wanted to play online splitscreen with my son. Without this option, it is just not worth buying this game.

Jeez Popcap and EA. You must surely have known about the requests for this mode, as the community brought it under your attention after the first game already!

Maybe if a GW3 ever sees the light of day. Tsk. SO and I got another Xbox so we could play together but it would be preferable and far more enjoyable to play in the same room.
