Switch online co op campaign

Can you play with friends online in the main campaign? I try to enter the main campaign in a party with my friend and it won't let me. If that is not an option, why is couch co op allowed on the PS4...

    @jtbolto1 For Couch Co-op this feature was not added to the switch, similar to the PC Version. I can pass along feedback in regards to wanting it.

    For playing with friends you can squad up with 3 other friends in a 'group', however, some sections will not allow to.

    Can you try inviting a friend through the games pause menu?

I'd rebuy the game on Switch if it had the couch co-op everywhere feature the Xbox and PS4 has.  That way, I could continue playing it when the Xbox version servers are eventually shut down.
