Because i like the game but that doesn't mean i have to ignore all the problems it has. There are quite a few things in this game that i disagree with and stuff that can really ruin the experience for most people that the first game did right.
Punishing people by taking away their income is just going to push more people away from the game when it's already stingy enough with the amount of coins you earn from matches vs the costs of the packs and the drop rates, having silver-gem versions of everything to make you grind up more coins, the unnecessary drop rates of legendary ect. (keep in mind a lot of kids play this game)
The main problem is that they are trying to make this game like a light version of Destiny which not a lot of people were a fan of though the devs themselves seems to be big fans which is fine but that game isn't liked by so many people for a reason.
Taking away coins and stars matter not to those who have played this game since it came out. Nor would decreasing a player's rank since half of the GW2 players don't even care about max levels. They only play their favorite characters.
Sure I hate players who switch team in the middle of a game. Yes, I also dislike it when players leave causing in balance.
But how do we know they switched on purpose too. Before the start of the game, the server puts players on opposites to full equal rosters.
And when the game is being played, sometimes the server disconnects you.
How do you know if they are flippers or quitters?
