The amount of card draw
Can I just say that sometimes, if your playing someone who is playing card after card, extra brains, changing zombies, using tricks, bad moon rising, etc it can be quite boring sitting there waiting.. just watching, and waiting til its your turn to play. In fact I lose patience in the end and just quit the game. The person doing the card draw, is doing everything they can to make their pathetic zombie or zombies capable of taking on your humble little plant that doesn't go viral, change several times, etc.. So if the opponents aim is to bore me to death waiting.. it achieves it.
Once upon a time, this game had minor card draw, too few. Now its gone the other way, too much. I've said before there it leads to manipulation from EA/Pop Cap as I've experienced it from both sides winning from cards that are not in my deck, or suit even. I've also lost to cards that I could no way build or play or use to defeat my opponent. Effectively if you build a deck that can defeat anything, then once you've completed ranks you stop playing.. so just to make sure you keep playing, and playing, and playing they will ensure that you lose. I'm not a low rank in this game and I'm not new player, so having played regularly for a long time I can see the manipulation. Yes there is luck, like the *, and great cards you get shuffled that can make or break a game in the first couple of turns. But laws of probability, also come in to this.. and you can tell when your allowed to win, and when you will no way be allowed to win. I've even seen with players on youtube, twitch etc
