Game feels different from GW1\2 almost at all sides, and the problem is, that all those defferenses worse GW.
- Pick 7 boring, and doesn't change gameplay stylle for character, as classes in GW. Golf-star and normal all-star feel different. Choosing different bonuses at pick 7 don't
- Dealin damage has no impact, and feels wrong. Most of the time im gettin out of ammo before someone dead. Most of skills deasn't work properly, and some skills are simply useless! Corn detector, what for? Cactus jump, why its needed, when i could use wallnuts to climb on stuff and make protecton! Engineers speed panel most of a time are uselles, you barely can see its and just walk pass it, why don't make it area effect? Also it looks boring and dumb. All-stars shield make more trouble for me than for anemies, i can barely see trough it, and the dummy takes too much space inside. And i can continue like that.
- Rewardotron unenjoying. Too high price, and gettin items one by one are boring, why can't i just order five or even ten at same time so i won't waste my time.
@xianah78 said "Another reason I don't think it feels the same is the maps. They feel so cluttered. I thought the same about GW2. There's just "stuff" everywhere. For me, it also makes it hard to see what is going on."
- Agreed, i don't know why, but devs trying to bring fightin as much close as it possible. It was already problematic playing sniper in GW2 because enemies are gettin close too fast, but in BFN maps are way to tight.
- Sprinting is strange. In GW movement was dynamic and responsive. In BFN walkin too slow, and running makes you defenceless. Also some running animations are ugly, peashooter running makes my eyes bleed, runnin cacti looks bad(well she overall looks ugly), imp running makes me want vomit because of unstopable spinning. And go on.
- Ops are bad, same mode that lost planty of stuff and din't get anything exchange. 5 waves too short(I saw some ppl like shorter, but i was totally fine with 10 wave, Gears 5 horde takes 50 waves and its amazing). You can't choose base locations....................whhhyyyy!? I was always chosing different spot if i playing same map. Pots useless completely.
Okay, im gonna stop that for now, but i hope you get the idea. Devs tried to fix stuff that been workin, and broke everythin.
Delete180 I've said the same thing about the ridiculous running motions from day 1. They are too childish and stupid looking. They really dumbed this game down and took the series from being a really good shooter to a cartoonish kids game. And before anyone says "It is a kids game", sure the rating says 10+, but you all know there are FAR more adults playing this game than kids. This game is a HUGE step back for this franchise. They better have something way better in the works for the next one, IF the series survives this pathetic offering.

Yes I always kept saying that the awesome thing about the GW series is that it's a super polished 3rd person shooter with a cartoonish look but deep, highly enjoyable gameplay. I totally agree that BFN now feels like a dumbed down version where "eveyone can feel at home and just spam some abilities". I totally miss the "professionalism" of the first two games, despite it having this cartoonish look (which I love).
