The Evolution of Mains
I thought it might be interesting to see the evolution of mains for vets but don’t wanna leave anyone out (which is why I listed my BfN clutter even though I don’t have a main yet).... so anyone fee...
Great idea for a topic! I never played GW1 much and my kids played GW2 so much I was barely able to get on. Since BFN came out, I haven’t been able to put it down. I just recently logged in to GW2 and am starting to get my feet wet but BFN is my addiction right now. I’m not going to stop until I get that Platinum trophy! Currently 90%. Just need to finish mastering my last few characters. Sorry lost track of the topic for a minute.
My mains so far in BFN are Sunflower hands down for Plants. I love healing my team and the challenge of staying alive with every enemy wanting to kill me because of the double heal I put out is fun! Currently Grandmaster 3.
The Engineer and Foot Soldier for Zombies have been my most used characters. The Engineer with the turret and the Bullhorn stuns is incredibly powerful. Putting down a turret and have 2 mechs firing faster is unstoppable. The Foot Soldier is another amazingly powerful character. His purple smoke grenade is used wrong in a lot of matches. I throw it down around my team so no one can see where we are. It’s super helpful in choke point situations especially in TT. Sorry for the long post. Could go on forever! 😁
GW1: Camo ranger,Painter, Centurion, Golf Star,
Fire flower, Citrus Cactus, Fire chomper, Law Pea
GW2: Mechanic and Sanitation Expert, All flowers, Kernel Corn
BFN: Electric Slide since alpha, Foot soldier, Acorn, and I bounce around between the rest of the plants.
GW1: Plasma Pea, CItrus Cactus, Sunflower
GW2: Mystic Flower, Electro Citron, Camo Cactus, Marine Biologist, Imp, Electro Brains
BFN: Team Play classes, healers, Snipers, and buffers.
If I had to pick one, it would be cactus, but sunflower is a close second
Citrus cactus...you guys are either making things up or twisted human beings. I always thought citrus cactus only existed for social profiling purposes.
GW1: golf star, original cactus
GW2: golf star, stuffy
BFN: all star, corn
I use a variety of characters in the GW/BFN series, but have some characters that I main (use a lot more than others):
For GW1, I didn't play this game. When I begun playing Garden Warfare, it was on Garden Warfare 2. However. judging by what characters I use now, probably Sunflower and Scientist and their variants (the healers), due to the way health regeneration worked in that game!
For GW2, I mained Party Citron, Iron Citron, Torchwood, Palentologist, Toxic Brainz, Astronaut, Metal Petal, Hockey Star, Hover-Goat 3000 and Future Cactus. I used loads of characters over my time on GW2 (and don't intend on discontinuing on that game either).
For BFN, it's hard to make "accurate" decisions at this point, because of all the characters and rebalances (and all that). Currently, I main Rose, Citron, Acorn (and Oak), All-Star, Imp and Scientist.
That's all I have to say for now!
@TheSprinter85 If you had to pick just one character per faction?
@spIash_damage If only picking one character for each faction, then, Rose on Zombies and All-Star on Plants! 🙌
No, actually, Rose on Plants and All-Star on Zombies! 😉
GW1: agent and regular pea shooter, fire and shadow flower. Super commando, sky trooper foot soldier, chemist and dolphin scientist.
GW2: I didn't play because my wife said it was too colorful lol so me and her stuck with GW1
BFN: nightcap, sun flower, rose. Foot soldier, dead beard, all star
@Provin915 Agree with you there, I liked the speedy chompers and the high health chompers, because Chompers are generally very slow and the faster ones mitigate that weakness! The hotrod naturally moved faster and the Unicorn and Twilight Chomper have warps and move faster as well. I also enjoyed high health chompers (Armor Chomper) because despite the speed, I like tanking as well (but why so slow?) 🙂
@DeAtHaDDiCtiOn5 At the moment, Chompers are being abused because of their ranged attack, which is really powerful, I haven't seen that many chompers in BfN yet, but most of them spam their ranged attack! 🤨🙂!
