I appreciate the time you took into creating such a wonderful detailed guide, but unfortunately I will NEVER be able to complete this Boss Hunt as long as people keep insisting on picking chompers and other obvious class choices that would be poor for Boss Hunt...
I need to vent for a bit (please forgive me). My experiences last night and this morning include, but not limited to: CHOMPERS... Petrified Cactus (No.. just no), the Sunflower Twins who refused to use healbeam, and let's not forget about that awesome Citron who grabbed the slushie/ and rushed right into the Yeti King's face (No, you can't facetank things in this game. It's not that kind of game). The ONE time my random group was surely to succeed the King's Fool died and his slushie appeared... guess where? Hovering in the air, off the edge toward that giant beaver's dam in the background. Completely unobtainable so we lost as there were only three minutes left and not enough time to cycle through another King's Fool. Sorry... rant over.
I'll keep trying, though. Wish me luck.
I feel your pain.
I've been on teams with Chompers who wouldn't respawn as something else regardless of how much I told them it was a bad choice, a team with 2 Cactus who were able to keep themselves alive easily but who wouldn't budge from their little fort to help hunt the Popsicles during the Yeti King's Dance and there've been a ton of Sunflowers not dropping their Heal Flowers or using their Heal Beams to good effect even though I'm giving clear direction over my mic.
Boss Hunts are hard enough with random groups made of average or casual players but there's so many newbies still under Rank 200 who still barely know how to use their characters that this time around is really frustrating. I have a regular Group which I try to Boss Hunt with but we're in different time zones so we can't always group up.
So far only the first Group I got put with just after the event opened managed to get past the first Super Sunshine Power buff, but didn't make it to the second one and then the group broke up and it's been all brand new players ever since for me.
