I do think that would be to much to ask, personally.
The Unicorn wasn't created for GW2 and then locked away behind a wall after the fact, it was created for the sole purpose of being a max-rank reward for GW1 players. As it is, getting the Unicorn is a task that takes time and perseverance to achieve, if you want it pop GW1 into your platform of choice and level up to earn him! The folks at EA and Popcap are being more than generous by giving players an entire year to reach this milestone and unlock the Chomper before the cutoff date. I know where you're coming from with your post but honestly its meant to be special and the sticker pack containing it is even called "313 max pack" believe it or not. If you truly want it, I'm afraid you'll have to work for it just like everyone else. No shortcuts, you've got to be a GW1 rockstar to get it.
there would be more work to do in gw2 to get it, so people would have to earn it. i know you say that its too much to ask because you already haver ur chomper and you wanna feel special, am i right? im just saying if you were the rank i am in gw1 you wouldnt be saying this is too much
Its less about me wanting to be special than it is about me thinking people should just earn it as it is. If I was the rank you are in GW1 I'd be playing GW1 to unlock my Unicorn Chomper.
I just think if im not playing gw2 then im wasting time being on gw1, its weird. i just want an option to be able to put in the SAME amount of effort, maybe even more, to EARN this character in gw2. im not asking them to hand it to me, i just want to play the more enjoyable game, which in my opinion is gw2
It wouldn't be wasting your time though, you'd be unlocking an extremely cool limited character for GW2. Every game you play is working towards unlocking something you want in that game. The character was created as a rank 313 loyalty reward, that is its purpose. Giving it out in any way, shape or form in GW2 would completely defeat the purpose of the characters entire existence. Plus there's the rank 100 Century pack that has exclusive hats in it, I know that everyone wants the Unicorn Chomper and I'd love to see more of them online but if people expect to get it they should do what it takes, not expect the developers to bend the rules to cater to their desires.
