It wouldn't be wasting your time though, you'd be unlocking an extremely cool limited character for GW2. Every game you play is working towards unlocking something you want in that game. The character was created as a rank 313 loyalty reward, that is its purpose. Giving it out in any way, shape or form in GW2 would completely defeat the purpose of the characters entire existence. Plus there's the rank 100 Century pack that has exclusive hats in it, I know that everyone wants the Unicorn Chomper and I'd love to see more of them online but if people expect to get it they should do what it takes, not expect the developers to bend the rules to cater to their desires.
well i wouldnt feel like im wasting my time if they would confirm that thats the only way. they said on a live stream that thats the only way AT LEAST FOR NOW so now i kinda expect them to eventually make it available to everyone some day. so knowing that i feel like i would be wasting my time. plus im a premed student so i dont have much time to put into games anyway ☹️ i just wish there were multiple ways. either that or update GW1 to sell a pack that only contains skip stars. if they did that then i would totally start the grind
