I mostly like the new character aesthetics. The animations are very impressive as well. Overall the game is gorgeous, and i love stylized art. Being a kid in the 80's and 90's has that effect i suppose. I like my realistic shooters too, but the mud and blood stuff gets old. Stylized and colorful games stay fresh for much longer imo. They age very well.

Agreed.

If I want to see mud and blood, I can turn on the news. PvZ is an escape from all that reality and let’s us all be a kid again. I will note as a father, I don’t want my kids playing in the toxic environment of CoD. PvZ at times can be just as toxic, I just don’t want my kids getting used to seeing blood and real world death. PvZ gives a comic book flare which is a perfect depiction.
My kids hate littering, therefore they love being a plant so they can fight back! (Another really cool feature!)- 6 years ago
I absolutely love the new character designs! I love the way they made peashooter look most of all. His eyes are so cool. I keep hearing people don't like rose's new design. I actually really like it- her head used to be to big and flat on the top- now she looks like an actual flower. I also love citron's redesign- his armor looks more like an orange peel instead of metal lol
