The simplest, best, and most appropriate way to buff the Sunflower!

I'm convinced the problem with the Sunflower is her precision is too great, making it inherently difficult to consistently aim accurately, while inhibiting her role on the front lines healing others. If the devs were to actually decrease her precision (otherwise known as spread), and then increase her firerate to compensate for the loss in damage potential, she would become more effective. She would become more of a front line accurate SMG, with the damage of the All-Star up close, but more accurate like the Foot Soldier (without the long range damage).

By her very nature she's not a front lines healer at all... In fact it states she's a back lines fighter. I don't want them to lessen her accuracy, I actually like it that way, and part of the reason I like Vamp Flower is because she's deadly accurate. She just needs damage buffs. She doesn't hit for a lot of damage per shot, and that means you have to keep hitting consistently on over a longer period of time than most.

In fact you know what part of the Plants team in general is? Half of the classes on the plants side....Yes, HALF!.... Are back lines fighters. The Sunflower is, The Rose is, and the Cactus is. That leaves the Corn, Citron, Peashooter, and Chomper to be ahead of them.

When I look at the Zombie side the only real back lines fighter you can say is their sniper, the Captain, and even he was given a friggin shotgun (wth guys) for good upfront fighting... All of the others can go right up in there. Even the IMP and the Scientist is an assassin. He's such a front lines fighter that he often spends his time in the back lines of the plants side.

So while the plants are playing so far back, there's not many plant classes that are really designed to meet that zombie resistance head on. That's kind of a big problem. And that's why when the zombie zerg storms into a capture point on turf wars its usually too late to even do anything. You simply can't have a cactus placing tallnuts and mines in a spot where the zombies already are.

  • I agree and disagree about this, because her pin point accuracy is some of the best in the game. however hitting targets like imps or scientist can be hard to accomplish. maybe we should consider the possibility of when the sunflower is zoomed in the bullets are pin point accurate like always, but when not zoomed in it will spread the bullets more.
