Agreed EA needs to realize that bfn did not do well because it took everything we liked out of gw2, that does not mean drop the whole freaking franchise. We need somebody to buy the rights of PVZ and fix it themselves.
GW2 also had a nice surge in popularity once it went to Steam. So much so in fact, that they had to deal with the server load! Unfortunately, the hacker issue meant that some new players (and us veterans as well) had to experience these cheaters firsthand, which hurt what would have otherwise been a great resurgence for the game on PC. EA has to see that the game does well and could be doing even better if they'd give it even just a low level amount of much needed support.
For both consoles and PC, the lack of special events at the town hall is a huge issue that also can't be that difficult to resolve. People want those achievements/trophies!
And why is such a popular IP that goes back to the OG tower defense game but has spawned so many other games, toys, books, and so on, not getting more attention from EA? It may not make as much money as FIFA or Madden, but there's no question it has made money and can make more if they'd just give it some attention and support!
- I find this ignorance towards the paying customers and fans pathetic and I also avoid any content from EA since then. I don't want to reward such behaviour any further. EA is just another cancer of the games industry.
Hey people i am another frustrated pvz fan.
I have been in another chat based on boss hunts a year ago and that one has died out. My family and i have been loyal customers since the start of the pvz franchise and ea in general. We have played almost every pvz game and my favorite, pvz gw2. We also have played madden and apex legends, really great games. I am so frustrated that ea has put the game that everyone loves into maintenance mode. I dont know why they wouldn't include the boss hunts and the other modes. They could've set it up where there is an event that goes on for 10 days, and a three day break in between events. They could've had every game mode in this rotation, but for whatever reason, they put on boring game modes only. I have recently started to play gw2 again, and i really miss how fun the game used to be with the monthly schedule about what you can expect. I have beat some of the boss hunts multiple times, but never on crrazzzyy difficulty. That is one of my impossible achievements (along with both of the cats vs dinos ones). I miss the community challenges, and the monthly boss hunts. I miss when there would be frequent updates adding new characters and updating the character abilities. There are so many glitches right now in the game. For example: the glitch where music is disabled when you use a team retry in ops. And im annoyed about how after a year of battle for neighborville being released, they stoped updating it.
Ea, all that we ask of you is to please, update pvz gw2 and stay working on it. You know that we are here, but you refuse to listen or acknowledge. You see the videos on youtube, and the money rolling in for purchases made in the game. We know you ea, please, return to us.
Also too, doesn't being a company also mean that you want to respond to your loyal customers?
