What really doesn't make sense to me here is that it wouldn't even take much effort on EA's part to win some goodwill here. PvZ is a popular IP, both GW games sold well (BfN has not done as well, but it sold enough that I wouldn't call it a failure, even if it lags behind the GW games), and people still want to play these games! They are being sold on both the EA App and Steam, and presumably on the console store fronts, right now, and we can still purchase coins and upgrades in game, so a minimum level of support would see them doing even better.
The Reddit is still active, videos on YouTube do well, even if some like Wolfy have been moving on as there's only so much content that can be made from games that haven't had anything new added in years. The best news would be support for GW2 and a new GW game in the works, but failing that, at least giving GW2 some attention as far as the town hall events and items that Rux used to sell that he hasn't in years now, should be done and soon. Fans of PvZ who are also paying customers deserve at least that much.

I am really annoyed about these issues.
Most of the items that rux sells are useless. For example, the red artichoke is useless because it is faster but deals less damage and has 5 health. the air strike is useless because of it's weakness. There are also hackers in the multiplayer lobbies too. I see so many players with over 80 kills in one match of turf takeover. I have even see people with over 100 kills and over 100 kills in a row. There is now way that you can kill that many players in 30 minutes without hacking. getting 30, 40, or even 50 kills is more reasonable to get. I am so annoyed about the mystery portal. They open it up for 10 days every MONTH. For new players, it would take 4 months to unlock all of the trials of gnomus so it is almost like they are FORCED to buy the hover-goat and torchwood pack. Even if you do wait 4 months, it would probably take 2-3 more months to get the characters, if you don't grind rainbow stars in 10 days.
EA, please return to this great game. The fanbase is still there, but you continue to ignore it.

The fact that they have to put effort into it but they are too busy pumping out another 300$ collection skin re-color in Apex
