    if i can add

the zombies easiest way to win is to just w+m1 n then do a group punt onto the flag to kill all the chompers

chompers have to rely on plants other wise they will lose quickly

This event is worse than that one time Hot Rod Chomper was on Hero Showcase.

  • I personally don't think that this one is terrible; although it is difficult and calls for for experience and tactical thinking on the part of the Chomper team.

If you look at it from a Win/Loss ratio it's pretty evenly matched; I've played several games and as a Chomp Thing our team was able to block the Tennis Stars by the third or fourth capture point and when I played as a Tennis Star the team was able to push all the way through for a Win.

Overall this Super Mix can pretty much go to either Chomp Thing or Tennis Star for the win, unlike Splish Splash where the Peashooters typically trampled the Engineers and where it was common for the Suburbination score to be hideously lopsided in favor of one team over the other.

The deciding factor here is how experienced the Chomper team is with the character because we have Infinite Ammo and Knock Back in play here so the typical Novice tactic of Charge/Spray/Swallow/Die/Repeat doesn't work and those who waste their Burrow just moving around are also going to have a hard time of it.

Veteran Chomp Thing players who know how to use cover and concealment to close with the Zombies, who take the time to flank or come up from behind or above, who use their Goop, Spike Weed and Burrow strategically  and who pick their targets can be very successful in putting together a good Vanquish Streak; of course a whole team of Tennis Stars with Infinite Ammo and Knock back means that those Streaks will have a hard time stretching past the 5-7 Vanquish mark but it's completely possible.

So, my bottom line is that I'm enjoying this Super Mix because regardless of which side I'm placed on it's still possible for me to be on a Winning Team.

There are strategies that *can* work in this mode. However, they generally require coordinated teamwork, which never happens. Unless you are lucky enough to have a regular team you play with or something.

In general, I'm amazed they managed to create a game mode that is no fun to play regardless of which side you are on.
