This game is dying 😭
I can’t believe it. This game is one of the best third person shooters I’ve ever played, yet the playerbase is a graveyard. Almost no one plays this game anymore. Please EA, give this game a free week...

Xbox one servers have been declining in population lately as well. The lack of new content will drive away all but those who are dedicated to the game and will continue playing it till the next installment. With the Advent of games like Fortnite, it's not too surprising that there haven't been many people playing.

I would estimate that I've lost around 75% of my friends in this game to Fortnite. I tried to like it, I wanted to like it. I hated it.

Fornite, yes, many of my friends keep inviting me to play Fortnite, and I just ignore it because I don't like it.
Many enjoy the survival one, it's like team vanquish but doesn't get re-spawn. The last battle to survive is intense.
Maybe we can consider that game mode in next GW. But probably people will get bored since they can't do anything after vanquished.
The last thing this franchise needs is a free to play battle royale game mode. It's bad enough all the ways popcap try to get people to spend money on coins, without adding in $10 customizations that don't do anything. Fortnite is a bald faced cash grab.

I just bought the game for the first time because it was on sale (i am on PC). I remember GW1 multiplayer fondly.
There were ZERO people on multiplayer and I tried for over an hour.
