This Yeti Boss Hunt
This totally sucks, it's not fun and impossible to win so far. WORST ONE YET grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr can't even beat it, come on, make it at least accomplishable

I can't complete the Boss Hunt due to being matched up with a bunch of very low levels (about between 10 to 50) when I'm level 2000 +, so that's happening, along with the spawning of ice characters and the Yeti boss, which I hate due to freezing, and then there is the big robot himself, the Yeti King. I found a solution, though... SUNFLOWERS! Mostly Stuffy, though.
When a sunflower is healing you, you are immune to all effects, including being frozen. When Stuffy Flower kills a zombie, they explode into rainbows and drop healing bits, so if you have 2 Stuffy Flowers healing each other via Heal Beam and the Heal Flower, along with her special effect and high accuracy and damage, you can win easily if you do this, if you have a good team.
My suggestion: Sunflower (Stuffy [Highly Suggested], Vampy, Sun Pharaoh [Skilled Player]) x2, Citron (Frost, Party, Normal)/Torchwood, Kernel Corn (BBQ, Normal, Party, Commando)/Peashooter (Toxic, Fire, Agent, Commando [Skilled Player], Rock, Electro [Highly Skilled Player Only]
We beat crazy with a tank citron, vamp flower, commando corn, and metal petal flower. The tank drank the slushy since he had the most health. To take out the loli pops have one player stand on the roof of the bridge. Another player can go on the other side of the map. One player can go kill the disco boss. The other player can help kill disco or help with loli pops. Always plant green goop consumables everywhere. They work great. Only self revive during loli pops and when you're attacking the king yetti. Stay together always except when you do loli pops. Don't use a rose, chomper, or cactus. Use teamwork and you will win. Sunflowers are definitely the key; heal Flowers and Heal Beams will keep you from being frozen; works for toxic and fire effects as well.
I have the notion that fully upgraded alien flower will be extremely effective in this boss hunt. I didn't try her yet because I only played one match which already had two sunflowers. After seeing a brief video, I can say the spore cloud damage is insane once the buff is on.

Thank you for the invite, i manage to do it with other people . It's difficult to play when you don't have the same time zone as your friends >_<

Can heal beams actually do that??? Woah. Only 400 hours into this game and I'm just hearing about it, lol.
Eeeh. I'd say he's more a damage class, since he's just 25 health above a sunflower. I'd consider citron and torchwood tanky classes, though. Maybe corn.
What I was getting at is that while tanky is very good, a well coordinated team can do without. In my game as pea, I killed the fool and got the slurpee each time, and we sailed through. But I had a very good vamp flower who stuck to me like glue.
- I find it way too hard compared to the rest of the game. The majority of players have no idea what to do and it's frustrating to be grouped with inexperienced players over and over. Managed to do it once on normal, but never even got close in the other attempts.
IMHO, difficulty needs to be reduced drastically, at least for the lower difficulty modes. Give people a chance to learn the ropes before dropping them in the deep end.This is by and far the absolute worst boss hunt designed and honestly, it's pretty crappy game design. Don't give people a chance to learn the ropes, get thrown in with too many inexperienced players. There's to much to do, too little to help, and you get lucky if you get a team that knows what they're doing. None of the past Boss Hunts were this aggravating because eventually people picked up what to do, even on Spooky Squash. This is just inflated difficulty with all the Ice variants running around, Yeti Imps that are WAY TOO TANKY FOR IMPS, and overall just nothing to help there. Not even your little tutorial video helped, Popcap. There are still too many people who don't know how to do this game. I literally ended up buying the last 10 Rainbow Stars I needed for the 50 star chest because I'm not doing this * show again. Way to take my favorite Community Portal game mode and turn it into an embarrassing display of uselessness.
To be honest, I don't think PopCap even really cares anymore. They aren't concerned with decent game design, they just want to make a quick buck. Sure, let's throw out an inflated difficulty boss hunt and bring a decent game mode to an even lower state than it already is.
Adding a cactus to your team can help a lot with this boss hunt with her iron maiden or tall nuts.
- Yeti Imps will suicide into them
- Artic Troopers shoot at them instead of you
- Browncoats are stalled by them
- Disco Zombie will shoot at it
You and your team avoid a lot of dmg when you have iron maiden set up around a perimeter. Get on the bridge and just set them up at the end of each side constantly. Setup NUGGET mines behind them .
