This totally sucks, it's not fun and impossible to win so far. WORST ONE YET grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr can't even beat it, come on, make it at least accomplishable

I find it way too hard compared to the rest of the game. The majority of players have no idea what to do and it's frustrating to be grouped with inexperienced players over and over. Managed to do it once on normal, but never even got close in the other attempts.
IMHO, difficulty needs to be reduced drastically, at least for the lower difficulty modes. Give people a chance to learn the ropes before dropping them in the deep end.

This is by and far the absolute worst boss hunt designed and honestly, it's pretty crappy game design. Don't give people a chance to learn the ropes, get thrown in with too many inexperienced players. There's to much to do, too little to help, and you get lucky if you get a team that knows what they're doing. None of the past Boss Hunts were this aggravating because eventually people picked up what to do, even on Spooky Squash. This is just inflated difficulty with all the Ice variants running around, Yeti Imps that are WAY TOO TANKY FOR IMPS, and overall just nothing to help there. Not even your little tutorial video helped, Popcap. There are still too many people who don't know how to do this game. I literally ended up buying the last 10 Rainbow Stars I needed for the 50 star chest because I'm not doing this * show again. Way to take my favorite Community Portal game mode and turn it into an embarrassing display of uselessness.
To be honest, I don't think PopCap even really cares anymore. They aren't concerned with decent game design, they just want to make a quick buck. Sure, let's throw out an inflated difficulty boss hunt and bring a decent game mode to an even lower state than it already is.
Adding a cactus to your team can help a lot with this boss hunt with her iron maiden or tall nuts.
- Yeti Imps will suicide into them
- Artic Troopers shoot at them instead of you
- Browncoats are stalled by them
- Disco Zombie will shoot at it
You and your team avoid a lot of dmg when you have iron maiden set up around a perimeter. Get on the bridge and just set them up at the end of each side constantly. Setup NUGGET mines behind them .

- Anyone who was around for the first ever Boss Hunt, "A Dinner With Sasquatch" will remember how frustrating that one was because absolutely everyone was experiencing it for the first time and generally speaking it wasn't until the last day that pretty much everyone had a handle on what to do, even if they didn't have the skills to get the job done. On that last day I joined random groups who could manage to get through various difficulty levels.
"The Kings Day Out" is in a similar position; December saw a large amount of new players come into the game, evidently mostly children (although that's nothing new for this franchise) and this is the first Boss Hunt that they are experiencing with all the attendant mistakes, poor choices of characters and such in addition to being brand new to the game.
For us Boss Hunt veterans it's frustrating to have to deal with them, especially when we try to give verbal directions to increase chances of success and they ignore us- I'm talking to all you stubborn Chomper players who won't, or can't, play another character class.
I'll admit that the Freezing is a frustrating factor but that threat can be moderated by having two Sunflowers operated by players who actually know how to use them.
I'm hoping that by tomorrow, the last day of the Hunt, that the simply curious and the inept will have abandoned the game and the quality of the random Groups will increase a bit like it did with the first ever Boss Hunt. Another thing that really ruins this mode is just waiting for the fool to spawn and when he does he usually spawns way across the map away from the yeti king. By the time most of the slower plants even get the boost or make it across the map the boost is already nearly over and you barely get any damage off on the boss. Then you gotta wait up to another 5 minutes just for the fool to spawn again which wastes a lot of time.
Also playing for 25mins to get a 8k-17k coin reward considering how hard these boss hunts are for people is really crappy.
The only boss hunt they got right to me so far was the gnome brothers event. Very simple it was but it was way more fun and doable than all the others and i could actually do any of the modes of that with randoms.We found that you can lead the Fool over towards the Yeti by shooting him and walking that way can't go too fast but he will come with you fairly close and then you can kill him and most times be on top of the yeti within 3 to 4 seconds. Stuffy worked great for crowd control and healing while you are DPS on yeti, the trash comes in close and just start shooting it to get the most healing exploding on the group.
