This Yeti Boss Hunt
This totally sucks, it's not fun and impossible to win so far. WORST ONE YET grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr can't even beat it, come on, make it at least accomplishable

Another thing that really ruins this mode is just waiting for the fool to spawn and when he does he usually spawns way across the map away from the yeti king. By the time most of the slower plants even get the boost or make it across the map the boost is already nearly over and you barely get any damage off on the boss. Then you gotta wait up to another 5 minutes just for the fool to spawn again which wastes a lot of time.
Also playing for 25mins to get a 8k-17k coin reward considering how hard these boss hunts are for people is really crappy.
The only boss hunt they got right to me so far was the gnome brothers event. Very simple it was but it was way more fun and doable than all the others and i could actually do any of the modes of that with randoms.
We found that you can lead the Fool over towards the Yeti by shooting him and walking that way can't go too fast but he will come with you fairly close and then you can kill him and most times be on top of the yeti within 3 to 4 seconds. Stuffy worked great for crowd control and healing while you are DPS on yeti, the trash comes in close and just start shooting it to get the most healing exploding on the group.
We beat crazy with a tank citron, vamp flower, commando corn, and metal petal flower. The tank drank the slushy since he had the most health. To take out the loli pops have one player stand on the roof of the bridge. Another player can go on the other side of the map. One player can go kill the disco boss. The other player can help kill disco or help with loli pops. Always plant green goop consumables everywhere. They work great. Only self revive during loli pops and when you're attacking the king yetti. Stay together always except when you do loli pops. Don't use a rose, chomper, or cactus. Use teamwork and you will win. Goodluck!
I just wanna quit this game. I've just been through some of the most frustrating teammates. This game doesn't start until 4 players spawn. Why bother even joining if you're not going to do anything either? I just 2 games in a row where one didn't even kill a zombie and another game where the player jump to the top of a building and just hid their shooting down, but he didn't get much kills. Not to mention every other game with one player who doesn't know what to do.
This boss hunt was difficult despite it being fairly straightforward in concept. I think I tripled my vampire flower play time over this weekend!
The bug where we got a silver hat for the hard mode win instead of the gem hat until getting the diamond one first was the worst part for my friend and I. We beat all 3 difficulties in a row on Friday with an excellent team but we had to spend our stars before returning and then it went south from there. Between bad character choices like chompers, people leaving mid match at bad spots, people who didn't understand the popsicles, and the randomness of the king's movements and the constant freezing, getting the gem crown was a nightmare despite having the scrumptious crown so early on.
The worst part was when you did have a good team and the king decides to constantly break line of sight so you lose tons of dps or he'll suddenly charge and do his point blank yeti freeze aoe when everyone needs to be in the slushee circle as well as the fool being so far away from the king quite often making the trip to engage him with the buff long and burning up valuable time.
When you get so far along and then lose, losing 20+ minutes of time it was tedious and we had to redo this thing over and over to get hard done a 2nd time, and we're both experienced in these kinds of encounters from years of raiding in MMOs, so for those looking for a more kid-friendly shooter must have been pulling their hair out.
The Brothers Gnomus was pretty easy, maybe too easy, but this one reminds me of the Sasquatch and Scary Squash combined and without a better explanation on what to do it can cause hours of frustration for people. I used Realitysquared's guide before playing this event and most of the people at least had an idea what to do by Sunday when we finally got the 6th hat (gem version), but I know on the FB group there was a lot of dislike for this one and my friend who plays almost every day with me as we get quests done and just play matches was downright angry over this one, and I wasn't far behind.
I have zero issue with things being challenging but this was frustrating in the extreme. I do like that you have to beat a difficulty level to advance to the next one but the bug with the hat, the wasted time from failing in the last second due to so much time lost on some slushee runs, and so many people not knowing what to do made this far less enjoyable than it could have been.
Brothers Gnomus was extremely easy. You could complete it in five minutes on Crazy difficulty with the right team. I could do without having to go through normal to crazy difficulty though. On the other boss hunts, if you beat crazy first, you could farm it for stars and coins as well as get the other hats. Only the gem and crazy hats should be available through hard/crazy difficulty respectively,
