Thoughts on the iron citron
I just unlocked the iron citron this morning, tried it out and i loved the guy, being a legendary after all plus good damage, good accuracy and a cool design :D anyways i've been trying to find this ...

Most players obviously prefer a character that you can take directly into the thick of the fighting, which happens to be the majority of them. Iron Citron isn't a "bad" variant, he's just really different.
Most Players get used to using Citrons in a frontal assault capacity so it becomes ingrained to get into the thick of the fighting so when most unlock Iron Citron they default into that playing style because it suits every other Citron pretty well and then you get slapped with the jarring realization that you're getting yourself wrecked because the single shot and slow reload time give the Zombies plenty of time to maneuver and take you out so a lot of people simply label him as a "bad" variant rather than investing any time in figuring out the best way to adapt to him.
He's definitely a character that you play in order to rack up Assists rather than Vanquishes at first, learning to work at longer ranges, figuring out the best vantage points in the map to take up post and you definitely have to work to get good enough with him to be able to trigger his Iron Mode in Multiplayer.
As the guy who almost only plays with mastered Iron Citron, I'll throw my 2 cents in her. Iron Citron has the potential to be the best character in the game if used correctly. Once you get the two reload upgrades, you're good to go. As almost everybody has already realised, Iron Citron's sustained damage isn't that good, unless you get into Iron Mode. If you get into Iron Mode, you slaughter everything without showing any signs of mercy. So, the key to mastering Iron Citron is to constantly get Iron Mode. To do this, all you really need to do is to pick of low HP-classes like the Imp and Scientist from the first or second line (This! Doesn't! Mean! Sniping! Range! Do! Not! Snipe! From! Extreme! Ranges! ) and get 4 kills. Then, get closer, pick of one last player and enjoy the increased speed, increased magazine, automatic regeneration to 125 HP if you were below and damage resistance, as yearn Iron Mode and destroy everything.
