Trials of Gnomus Puzzle Room Combinations

Okay, so I was awarded the Red Key to unlock the Trial of Hot Doom and I completed it to receive my own personal combination for the central Puzzle Room. 

For those who might ask, I'm not bothering to share the combination because the Trials are designed so that a combination given to one player won't work for another player.

Back to the point, after you use the combination in the Puzzle Room and defeat the Guardian you are shown another portal through which you proceed to get your Chest of Eternity prize.

What I want to speculate about is this:

Any body who has completed their Trial and gone to the prize room will notice that there is a copy of your combination code behind the Chest of Eternity, only the code has two symbols missing. The missing symbols puzzled me at first but then I realized that there were four Trials. Four trials means four combinations for the Puzzle Room and that means four prize Rooms where you are shown a code with two symbols missing.

If the missing pair of symbols are missing from different places on the combination and there are four combinations what you wind up with is a fifth combination code for the Puzzle Room.

The trailer released for Trials of Gnomus show a Portal where the statue of Gnomus sits in the Pavillion and since the two Gnome statues on either side of him represent the four Trials I'm starting to wonder what that fifth element to the Trials of Gnomus will be and what will be necessary to open that fifth Portal where the Gnome King sits.

Or maybe I'm completely overthinking things...
