The balances you brought with this update are TERRIBLE. I was defending your last update patch tooth and nail because the game felt good and fun. With this update, I can tell that you guys are ONLY looking at the "data" and not playing the game YOURSELVES! Main culprit is Camo Cactus: reduced her headshot from 60 to 56 non-upgrade and then 66 to 60 WITH damage upgrade. The thing is, have you played against skilled players?! Jumping imps, skinny leaping soldiers, and strafing slender pirates are VERY HARD to hit, so she NEEDED to output 66 damage to compensate for her high skill cap. How about All-stars and superbrainz: Its going to REQUIRE 4 HEADSHOTS to get 1 vanquish!!! She only has 5 ammo to begin with, slow zoom movement, AND slow reload. This balance alone tells me that you've stopped playing your own game and are only looking at the data. You are pushing out the devoted players to make this more beginner friendly, but those "casual" players will come and go, and those devoted players are the ones who hold this game together. You are pushing them away from this game onto games that require skill and don't rebalance the ENTIRE GAME with each update, AKA Overwatch. Garden warfare 2 as a game from launch date to today's update are 2 ENTIRELY DIFFERENT games, and that's NOT a good thing. I myself will no longer be playing this game. Congratulations Popcap, you have successfully pushed me fully to be a devoted Overwatch player.
- Anonymous9 years agoThe biggest issue, personally, I am seeing with the new patch is that in turf takeover ,The Seeds of Time, it's too difficult for the zombies to activate the boot at the end of the course.
