Here, I'll share my tips for this event's weekly challenges, for players who are trying to complete them 🙂:
1. Get 3 vanquishes in a match. For this one, you need to get 3 vanquishes in the same match, it does not carry over between matches. You don't need to get 3 kills without being vanquished either. This one is very easy, and shared vanquishes do count, assists do. You may want to focus on taking down Snapdragons or Super Brainz, as they can't become invulnerable to avoid you and your attacks, or if you can do this quickly, take down a Rose or Electric Slide, they shouldn't be able to use their invulnerability ability to get away from you if you're quick enough. It may be good to do this as Electric Slide, because of the arcing electricity and damage. If you're Snapdragon or Super Brainz, flanking a target may be ideal to increase a chance of claiming an easy shared or regular vanquish.
2. Win 2 matches. Plants and the defending team both seem to have a large advantage in this game mode, or if you're put as one or both of these, you should win the match. But it's advised to simply help your team wherever possible and to focus on the objective to increase your odds of winning the match further. If you're on zombies and/or are on the attacking team, I'm sorry to say, but you're much less likely to win that match, due to balancing issues. Helping and supporting your team where possible can still improve your odds of winning. For this challenge, patience is the key, but the faster you can get this challenge, the better off you are for the last challenge. Make good use of pots, bots and summonables, to help you and your team with defending or capturing the objective, while also granting you a small amount of XP.
3. Deal 10,000 damage, this challenge does carry over between matches. Being any character can help you immensely for this challenge, because each of the characters you can pick from can deal decent damage. Electric slide may be good because of the electric damage if the enemies keep being grouped. Rose is good as you can Jinx the target and deal extra damage that way. Snapdragon's primary fire and abilities can help immensely because the high damage potential, Super Brainz is the same story. You don't need vanquishes or to win a game, so sit back, be patient, and wait for those 40 rainbow stars to roll in. I'd also suggest checking your progress at the end of each round to assess where you are at and how close you are to completing this challenge, as you could end up missing it entirely.
Hope that helps you all! 😃
