@KnowsNoLimit @Vinimon18 - just because a reply isn't made on every post doesn't mean feedback and concerns are being missed because you used the forums and not Twitter.
Twitter is an interesting platform in that people will post publicly from their own private accounts and possibly provide more info than they ever would have on forums, I think that can happen for a lot of things.
We do try and keep you guys informed on the forums though. If we're working on something, or are aware of something that is being fixed by studio then we will usually reply as such to a thread about it.
As for making a post for each individual item that may be looked into, that doesn't seem like something we would do but once we have say notes for a new patch/update available we'll get those posted as we did for the first update.
One thing is for certain - your feedback isn't being missed.

You don't need to explain yourself, but I appreciate your reply. We know there are many issues you and the other devs are dealing with. It is not necessary to receive round the clock updates and responses from you guys like some of us want you to. All I have to say is keep up the good work.
Yes, they are some painstaking issues in-game right now including hit detection and I'm just as frustrated as most players about it. Since I know the devs are working on it, that is good enough for me. I'm not going to demand weekly updates and constant feedback from POPCAP on it. Between this forum and the Reddit, the devs are engaged enough. For some of you, it isn't enough, but I think the devs have proven themselves after the year of our queen. Give them a break and let them do their jobs.

Most of the time I have the feeling that the Development Team has no idea of the real issues that are truly threatening this game.
@EA_Andy I believe you deliver to the Team, I am just not confident in how they interpret our data if none of them can even experience the issues.
- Anonymous10 years agoI don't quite understand what's so difficult about clicking on New Post, typing in a subject line, and then typing a list of bugs that the team is working on.
With @EA_Andy having no knowledge of party rose being unobtainable, tells me that the players are not adequately able convey their issues on these forums.
The only reason I can come up with that explains why such a post doesn't exist, is because there's a lack of communication between the developers and the community managers, making such a post impossible.- Anonymous10 years ago

I have a very large list of bugs that threaten the performance of the game though I have zero access to a way to deliver it to them directly meaning most of them are probably going to linger. I find it strange that I find @EA_Andy on a few posts in the same section as the one with many Party Rose posts yet he is not informed of it despite one being a "hot thread" right now.
I spend myself on this forum trying to help others as it seems nobody else is able to or is just plain unwilling to. This is what I find irritating. I just want to know if my presence here is actually worth it. Sure, I can help around two or three people a day to understand glitches such as the "Wave 8" glitch though I am sure many thousands beyond contact are experiencing the same thing, suffering without any form of way for me to help.

PopCap's Job was to create a budget in order to develop, test and release a working product to us, the consumer.
Our job is to invest in the product. If at any given time we feel that our purchase doesn't meet up to the required expectations (or isn't fit for purpose) then as far as i'm concerned we, the consumer have every right to complain about said investment.
So, with all due respects I don't fully understand why you have to take the moral high ground by insisting that those who choose to air their disappointment should refrain from doing so and "give them a break". Cynically speaking, all the devs have "proven themselves" with is, not unlike a great deal of other developers in today's industry, that they too can take advantage of the "sold as is" section that seems to firmly implanted within the terms and conditions of pretty much every single piece of software that is sold nowadays. A section which very conveniently removes pretty much all OUR consumer rights regarding the product.
I'm sorry but for these reasons alone is see no grounds for giving anyone a break.

Job...?
I think your expectations of POPCAP and its devs are misplaced just because you paid for a game.

So what level of expectation am I supposed to have then? And what of those less fortunate out there who don't have an infinite budget and have to carefully choose what game they purchase. Are they supposed to just grin and bear it if what they have spent their money on doesn't achieve a reasonable standard of acceptibility?
Listen, the singlemost important thing when you purchase a game is that, if nothing else, it works to a standard that doesn't have a detrimental effect on the overall gameplay experience. Minor quibbles can (and often are) overlooked but issues that have a potentially game breaking effect or physically prevent you from playing it simply cannot be brushed aside - irrespective of how much you paid for it.
That is my level of expectancy - a level which i consider as being neither unreasonable nor unachievable. If it appears "misplaced" or beyond the realms of feasibility then i really do stand corrected.

Yeah it does feel like feedback/suggestions do get ignored sometimes, like with my list of suggestions thread for the Ops games....don't think it got any attention at all. :c
- 10 years ago
Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who feels that way.
I think people have given enough feedback on all the bugs and it's tiring repeating the same thing over and over again. So now all we can do is wait. I just wish game breaking things like crashes and the hit detection bug would be hotfix'd instead of waiting for a content patch.
The waiting game sucks just as bad as how much fun Infinity mode is to play.

I think 20% of people's frustration comes from the bug itself and 80% from the feeling that their complaints are not being taken seriously. You can't answer everyone personally, but at least post a sticky or something to say "yes, we noticed." followed by updates like "we think we isolated the source of the problem" and "we're a bit stuck now, but rest assured: we''re not giving up". Something like that.
