Community Admin@DarkPersephone Hey, you mention not wanting to go for a refund, but you might want to consider putting in for the Great Game Guarantee anyway. That way you can get a refund within a week of launch, or a day of starting the game, whichever is sooner.
If you can't find a workaround (i'm not aware of any) then perhaps you'll wish to rebuy the game if and when you upgrade.
Like this guy, we pre-ordered way back before the crazily high-end specs were released and we can't run it.
EA needs to get back on planet earth where normal people (who have to buy their own computers) don't all have top spec machines. Please, please, please build games for ordinary gamers, not just for yourelves.
Really dissappointing from what had previously been a great development house.

What are your specs. By most accounts the requirements aren't excessive and are in-line with most games that have a Gen 7 console equivalent.
