Ouch, it hurts a lot to hear you say that. It makes me very glad I just did Infinity Time to unlock everything. (It was super monotonous but, I'm glad I did it.)

Party brainz, on the other hand, I had to level up and master in the regular fashion, and it was close to torture. Now I don't have to really care if I never get the two characters, they're both already mastered. If I never hear party brainz's insipid music again, it will be too soon.
I, uh, wouldn't call it cheap. I am 99% sure I used your method for a handful of characters. I got lucky and did party brainz during the old plants vs new zombies portal, so leveling went at super speed. Either way, I agree about the music. Its funny, I only dislike a few of the music pieces and party brainz happens to be one of them. (Would much rather rock out to Party Pirate or Party Imp)
What is the "cheap" way you choose?
1. Play private game (turf take over) with 1 player(you) against the same character (weakest one, scientist/sunflower for example) and wreck them up to collect HP?
2. Play split screen and keep killing each other
3. Play in backyard and keep killing bosses
4. Play in backyard with your friend and keep killing each other.
5. Or I miss something?
For the side note, I didn't like any of these, I like to play gnome bomb and collect as many kills as possible since they tend to focus on the bomb, instead of each other 🙂

Both peashooters with sombrero bomb and corns with BBB can level up faster than light. Private herbal assault, zomburbia, no plant team and cosmic overload for zombies. After taking out the turrets, hyper or husk hop to cap point, face the wall and wait until you're down to 20 health. Pop out bean or BBB against the wall. The idea is to time the bomb to go off right after you've been vanquished. Rinse, lather, and repeat. The XP is unreal, about 10 minutes (2 games) per prestige.
I only did this for law pea and mob cob, both of which I hated playing. I would have preferred to do party corn to good old fashioned way, but I thought I only had one day to get him and party brainz done.

Is the idea to get a lot of HP from revenge after dying:"STILL GOT YOU ! " ?

Yes, each time you get about 8-10 vanquishes, plus 100xp per vanquish for Revenge from the grave, plus I think 50?xp for base capture vanquish. Altogether about 200xp per dead cosmic brainz. It can reach over 2000xp per minute.
As you mentioned, gnome bomb is a great way to get high points per minute. I like to play GB at Sandy Sands (science/sun) to rank up all stars.

Ha, nailed it. Anyway, I don't think its cheap because it uses the game's natural features. Unlike killing a stationary second player, this method uses AI to level. It really isn't a secret that playing against AI is better exp than multiplayer matches. (Unless you are very skilled) Shoot, pick a class and mode (excluding ops) I can get 400+ score per minute against AI.
What I have come to realize is, as long as you play to a classes strengths just about anyone can get "unreal" experience. This set up for example highlights the explosive power of the pea and corn. But, it also works well for All-Stars, Super Brainz and weirdly some Chompers. All have some form of explosion that vanquishes many AI at once. But, it doesn't end there. Scientists and Sunflowers specialize in reviving. Under the right circumstances the amount of revives can give craaaaazy experience. Engineers specialize in AoE damage. Cacti, Soldiers and Pirates are skilled snipers.
My point is, I don't see this set up as cheap because almost every class has the ability to get rapid exp in Solo or Private matches. (Some even exceeding pea and corn.) To call this cheap would imply all exp in "single player" is cheap and that is simply not true. I am super grateful that GW2 has this option for when I get frustrated with live humans. It is much less stressful and more relaxing while still accomplishing something. In the end I commend the decision to make exp from vanquished AI 50 instead of 200. But, I would be very upset if other exp were also altered.
