Unable to connect to ea servers in garden warfare 2

Whenever i open the game, i get slapped in the face with an error telling me that the ea servers are unable to connect and i need to try again. Whenever i hit ok, the error just appears again and so ...

    Don't know about this guy but I'm having the exact same problem. Wifi is fine, router is fine, only an issue with this game.
