@EA_DavidUnfortunately, that did nothing. I'm still getting the same error message.
I tried clearing the Origin cache too, but that did nothing.
Some of the other suggestions are starting to get beyond my knowledge and skills.

Community Admin@PuffBoy28 Can I check if you tried the Clean Boot, and if that had an effect? If you can (temporarily) disable your anti-virus as a test that may help too.
