Unable to play after win 10 update

Windows 10 updated and now no games in my library will finish loading.  I get a blank window and then it says game not responding.  I played PvZ the previous day without issues. I have done all of the usual things, uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired, etc with negative results and tech support was no help.
