Underestimated and overestimated
Hello, I decided to put together a list of 5 characters that are overrated and 5 that are underestimated.
Overrated
- Soldier: I really think he's good, I just think people just see him as something far beyond what he is, he's just a good character, he's not OP or weak.
- Nightcap: A good character, but people confuse the fact that she is small and irritating with the hypothesis that she is broken.
- Snapdragon: I don't really understand the pedestal they put him on, he is a character that often draws a lot of attention and is therefore easily dealt with.
- Engineer: He has a complete and very strong kit but I feel that he is not a monster that people see, he was certainly the most OP character in the game in April, but with the Buffs on the plants he lost that shine.
- Steam Blaster: Well the normal scientist is better than him.
Underestimated
- Cadet: hey hey, this character is way beyond what people expect, but he is very good, really an excellent character, by the way she is better than the soldier (trust me). 😉
- Citron: It does everything for plants, man I am surprised people just ignore how broken this character is, he competes for the best plant.
- 80's: Most players just simply go straight, or see how difficult it is to play with him and give up, but the brave ones who pioneered him, discover the real gold mine (Okay, that looked more beautiful than I had thought).
- Scientist: By far the best support in the game, buddy, he manages to heal an entire team in a frightening way, it's the people who know dolphin blaster, they are terrifying.
- Swarm classes: They are very good at everything, being insane at X1, and to take a group of these little friends prepare to unload several bullets.

Great post for discussion. I agree with the majority of what you said. I could tell our views really align and most likely have the same mentality towards most topics.
I'm gonna quote you and give my 2c. Disclaimer - my opinions are that of a console player and not PC.
Overrated
- Soldier: the decrease in accuracy really leveled the playing field. He almost feels like how corn use to play, good ROF but it seems some bullets just disappear. At this point he's overrated, but still a great character.
- Nightcap: slightly disagree with you here as I think she's still top tier, but not OP.
- Snapdragon: the attention might come from people who sit still and get burned to death by him. That being said, with in range, he can take most zombies in most situations due to his DPS and his tankiness. Strong but not overrated. And only overrated only if you're claiming he's considered OP.
- Engineer: in specific situations he's OP. Getting up close and dodging his stuns, he plummets down hard. Yeah I agree he is being overrated.
- Steam Blaster: Well the normal scientist is better than him. agreed.
Underestimated
- Cadet: I hear on PC he's always been good due to kbm. On consoles, it's much harder to track opponents. His DPS is too low while expecting to keep really good aim for prolonged periods of time. so in my opinion he's relatively low tier.
- Citron: I recently just started playing him and I agree, he competes for the best plant, possibility the best character.
- 80's: super large skill gap type of character. Agreed he's underrated by people who don't want to put in the time.
- Scientist: mmmm, dolphin blaster, shhhh 😈
- Swarm classes: they're underrated? Most top vanquishers i see use them.
