Untrickable Needs To Be Untrickable for Both Sides

In it's current state, Untrickable is OP.  Jurassic Fossilhead is a great card, but when the zombie player can play tricks like Escape Through Time on it, it becomes very OP for the cost.  An Untrickable card should be just that, untrickable for both the zombie and plant sides.

I agree. I think Untrickable should work more like Hearthstone's 'Elusive' effect, in that the plant or zombie cannot be targeted by ANY tricks. Whether this means they can be affected by tricks that the player doesn't use targeting for (e.g. Cherry Bomb, or The Chickening) I guess is still up for debate.

  • They will be making escape through time cost 2 in the nerf. But, there is still a lot of unbalance In regard to protection. Force field which is the plant equivalent, is no where near as protected as ETT. You would think an untrickable fossil head wouldn't need protecting considering its high hit, and immune to plant tricks. But, some players, feel the need for an easy win.. Perhaps their poor brains can't fathom out a more skilled way of winning?

But yes, untrickable should mean precisely that, no tricks either way..just a battle of plant vs zombie.

100 % agree, untrickable should be exactly that for both sides. I wonder if this is actually a mistake?!

Guys if you pay attention, you can see that Fossil Zombie hide itself when a plant trick is played... For that reason i don't think its an error, i think they do that with that intention. I mean, Fossil Head is untrickable because he is intelligent, its like when you use sunglasses, what's happens when the sun hide and starting to rain? You still use the sunglasses? Well, this depends of your intelligent too.. Of  course, when plant trick is played he hide, but he don't hide when zombie trick is play because he wants the buff... Others zombies like cone zombie, yeah, he have a cone! But he is not untrickable, because he is a little dumb! , its the same of the plant, also i remember the first version of this game, pvz1, that plant appears and protects near plants of zombie attacks, but not protect when coffee bean is play on a plant... I think the developers maintain that behavior, and the parasol zombie, use the umbrella only when a enemy trick is play...

The problem here its the high strengh and health of Fossil Head, and well, we know he go nerf soon.

There is too many removal control tricks in the game. I would like to see more untrickable plants and zombies. The game got real boring for awhile when troller flare just blue you up for 9 rounds then just used the big finishers. Troll knight is bad too. And look at the super cheap zombie tricks like final mission 1 cost dose 4 damage to a plant or to the face. Or alien ooze. Plz more untrickable plants and zombies

I don't mind the untrickable one. And it's ok that zombie trick can affect your zombie...after all it's your zombie. The issue is that these crads, as often are completely OP for zombies. Jurrasic Fossilhead give you, with only 3 brains a 5/6 untrickable creature, parasol zombie is 3/6 and protect zombies next door... compare to the umbrella leaf, plants do not compete.

  • The main difference between Parasol Zombie and Umbrella Leaf is that Zombies cannot have more than 1 zombie on a lane, that's why Parasol is an Untrickable Zombie itself.

The other reason is that zombies can get more value out of their "board clears" because of the amount of targets that can be hit with a single trick.

When a Plant player uses an AoE attack/trick, you can hit 3 zombies MAX.

When a Zombie player uses an AoE trick, you can EASILY hit 3 plants. (Again, because plants have the Team-Up plants).

I believe that because Umbrella Leaf can protect up to 5 plants and from game-changing tricks (like Weed Spray) it is fair that it is not an Untrickable plant itself.

Another small thing, Guardian is getting the 9-health untrickable nut next expansion, so the amount of Untrickable things will be even by then. (A untrickable single minion and a minion that gives untrickable for both sides).

Also the leaf only costs one, and being teamup can be protected from attacks. And, being that it is teamup, play two umbrella leafs beside one another and they make each other untrickable

Well this is my point. Untrickale is a powerful mechanic all by itself, but allowing players to then buff their untrickavle cards with very powerful tricks is completely OP and leads to NPEs every time The devs need to fix this and just make untrickable completely untrickable. Devs not listening to their player base is what results in good games dying out.
