Oh I'm still around! Just logon on the forums less when I'm off from work (sounds backwards I know). There are other games I've been playing around with like revisiting Duke Nukem 3D for the first time in 25ish years, but I still enjoy BfN, flaws and all.
@asabaidathat was a great run of Ops indeed! I haven't sat and played that many rounds of Ops in a very long time. Earned 12 bulbs today between the 2 challenges and all those Ops!
I'm seeing a new turf map next month and the new zombie in March so I'm cautiously optimistic. There are very few games coming out this year that I know of that I'm looking forward to so far so while BfN needs work, it's still a PvZ shooter so I'll be hanging around.
@Iron_Guard8 @Funny you say that. My son and I revisited DOOM 93’ and Bomberman to weather the storm. It’s nice to visit the throwbacks. B (my son), was like oh my god this is scary. I told him he had no idea. This game was the first of its kind when I was growing up and we’d stay up all night with the lights off playing it. Then I showed how deatmatch should be.

Played in a Doom tournament once and I’d never played the game/was a “fill-in” or substitute.
I’ll never forgot how intense it was running around those dark maps and running head-on into enemies!
Been on a retro-FPS kick lately, for the campaigns mostly. The 'Masters of Chaos' megawad for Heretic was 31ish hours to complete all 3 episodes and it was rough at times! But also playing Ion Fury, Quake and Quake 2 stuff, Unreal, Shadow Warrior, Blood, Doom, etc.
For laughs,m I DLed this one, it's silly and goofy, but it made me LOL, so that's never bad:

From what I've seen they're decent and fun folks and do care about their games and this great IP, but it can look bad when we don't see them around here so much. I still believe BfN can be fantastic and I'd be lying if I said I don't have fun with the game, but there are serious issues undercutting all the good that the sooner they're fixed the better.
