Since your absence, we’ve been completely in the dark again (which is sad/insulting when we see so many Twitter updates) but avoiding these questions another few weeks/month WILL cost the community more members.
EDIT: I find it odd yours and Blueberry’s avatars are both non-PVZ and suspect you’re probably getting bored/fed up with the game, too? 🤷🏼♂️😢

@spIash_damage I change Avatars fairly regularly, usually when something fun or new comes along, but it's not really any commentary on a particular game or IP.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
On Team Swap I haven't heard any news, for Rainbow Stars we've highlighted the feedback but don't have any official word.
As for the new character, imo that'd be something best addressed in a livestream or more detailed article when there's info and context around what role this new character will play.
@EA_David I was acknowledged by @Shaun_Popcap over a month ago regarding both issues but have been left hanging since.
The last thing I want is to sound entitled but I was burnt out (with lack of communication) long ago. Your communication is great but we all deserve to hear from someone (whoever makes decisions regarding decisions about the game) whether or not anything will be done regarding Rainbow Stars and Team Swap.
If these issues aren’t resolved (even if it’s against my wishes), I know many people will leave the game.
By not replying to us (not you, David - but someone on the dev team or even if they’d reply to you to let us know)... it feels like they’re saying they don’t care whether we leave the game. Having played this series for multiple consecutive years, it’s truly heartbreaking.
To be clear, you communication is great but if you can’t make any changes for us, maybe someone can or at least they could show up HERE instead of Twitter with their updates.

I've tried to join @asabaida before and even though the game states their game is joinable and there's room, it puts me in the unicorn queue. They ended up joining me yesterday and we ran those Ops for at least 2 hours!

I've not friended @ippig yet, maybe we should! My ping in Europe is significantly higher but I've helped @Fiky39 get some free roam stuff done though so it is doable.
I'm 100% with @spIash_damage , I don't want to sound entitled or whiny but there's a lot of things that need to be addressed here and the sooner they are fixed the better. I still believe the official forums should be the main communication platform with the community rather than Twitter or Reddit.
@Iron_Guard8 Glad you hear me. I’m begging them to give me a reason to stay (them being devs who SUPPOSEDLY read these forums... not our beloved EA staff).
I will be gone soon and it breaks mah heart as I’ve been begging for months to be heard.

Yep, now that you mention it I think I have tried to join you before and not been able to...
there has been issues like this since the Founders, sometimes my partner cant join when I'm playing alone...
I don't even notice anymore to a point... long ago gave up trying to understand these things... surely this kind of thing is fairly simple?

EA_David, thank you for your response. Sorry to hear about you feeling under the weather. Getting sick is bad, but around the holidays it's worse.
Can we get a follow-up on 8v8 in TT? Why was it changed, why so sudden, and can they please, please, please change it back?
