We wanted to give a first update on the recent addition of EA anticheat to Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 on March 7, 2024.
With EA anti-cheat now in place, we have activated some cheat prevention methods, and are monitoring and investigating the activity we are seeing to circumvent our fair gameplay controls.
We will be tuning EA anti-cheat as we go to enhance our cheat prevention methods, and will be identifying and sanctioning players utilizing cheats.

Community Manager@stukapooka The CMs here have no visibility into Discord. We only handle these forums so if something happens to those discords, it was done by someone there or someone who runs those channels. When something happens to those channels, that comes down from way above us.
@EA_ShepardI've just heard of a massive banning wave of anything pvz related. I do not know if Braddock is behind it or not but its definetly in flames over there right now.
